#TheReadingQuest TBR

August 4, 2017

I have recently developed a bit of an obsession with reading challenges, but some challenges are similar enough that I can’t keep them separated! #TheReadingQuest doesn’t have that problem. It’s adorable and unique, and I have been so excited to share it with you guys!

What makes this reading challenge unique is that it covers the span of a bingo board, but is modeled after an RPG-style game: you create a character, pick a class, and then base your reading challenges after your class’s quests! Once you complete your character, you can move on to a new character in a different class.

Here are your class options:

And here is the board:

Those purple squares are main quests (follow the colored dotted lines from your class to see which ones you must complete!), and the blue squares are side quests that you can complete for extra XP.

Yeah, you heard me right… this challenge has XP. (Experience points for the less geeky amongst you.) Each character starts with 10, and you steadily gain points as you read. Full details are on the sign-up post, which I linked above!

For my first character, I’m going with a Mage!

EDIT – AUG 10, 2017

I decided to go ahead and map out a TBR for a couple of other character quest lines, as well as some of the side quests! Obviously, I won’t bother double-typing the duplicate squares.

      1. Thank you so much! You know, funny story about that book – I picked it up a month or two ago and got 50pg into it and just couldn’t get into it! So I put it down, but now I’m determined to finish it. The plot honestly REALLY intrigues me, I think the writing just felt a bit slow for me at the time.

        1. oh, i hope that it will get better! i sometimes have that 50/60 page mark with books where i think i will stop and then it just goes up from that point ? good luck to you!

Say hello! ♥
