January ’18 Wrap-Up

February 1, 2018

It’s the end of the first month of 2018, and I don’t know about you guys, but I am extremely pleased with how much reading I got done this month! I managed to knock out quite a lot of ARCs, as well as some backlist titles I’d been meaning to read for a while.
With my new semester starting a few weeks ago, I didn’t expect to read much in January, because one of my classes was supposed to be a YA Literature class. Bit of a funny story about that one – long story short, there were some problems with a brand new professor who was taking over the class, and I dropped it and switched it for a different elective, which has so far turned out to not have much homework at all. (Yay!)

    1. Awesome! I started up my semester too and because of that I was prepping more than reading. Hoping to change that in February.
Too bad about Everless. I was so looking forward to it but so many people seem to be not liking/finishing it.

    1. Wow you did a lot of reading! Go you! I love that you do an average rating for the month-3.9 is pretty great. I’m glad I’m not the only one who couldn’t finish Everless.

      1. Thank you, Kristen! My usual average is a little lower so I was really surprised! And yeah, it just wasn’t worth finishing for me. 🙁 I was gonna try it again some time, but a lot of people are now telling me not to bother, so I think I’ll just count it as a loss!

    1. A 3.9 WOW LOOK AT YOU. this is impressive on so many levels

    1. Lovely month in terms of writing! I’m always in awe of your reviews and frequent reading <3 <3

    1. I’m so curious about Reign of the Fallen! I hope I can get to that one this month. 😀 Great to see you rated it 5 stars.
Yeay for not having much homework. 😀

    1. Wow, you got through so many great books last month! I hope this month is just as good! ❤️
