  1. I like how you organized them by the amount of stars that you gave them! Though I’m sad to see Heart of Iron under the “2 stars” heading hahaha. I’ll be reading that one next and hope that it won’t disappoint me. Great post!

      1. I’ve actually seen more negative reviews for it than good ones! I started it yesterday, and am unsure right now….it could go both ways for me at this point haha. And thank you! ❤

  2. I’m so glad that you enjoyed The Poet X. That one is currently being shipping to me and I cannot be more stoked. I’ve been hesitant about Heart of Iron. On one hand, it’s an Anastasia retelling; on the other, the love interest is a robot. See my predicament? Hope you enjoy your March!

  3. Wow! You did great 🙂
What are you thinking of Children of Blood and Bone? I keep seeing it everywhere, hahaha😉😁

I’m hoping to get to read To Kill a Kingdom soon. I love retellings and The Little Mermaid, so it’s perfect💜

    1. Thank you, Bree! I really am enjoying COBAB so much so far, but it is HEAVY. There are so many metaphors for racism and colonialism that it’s a tough read to stomach at times, but it is an absolutely beautiful world! And yesss, I hope you get to read TKAK soon!

  4. ooooh looks like a solid reading month!!! i hope you’re liking the raven king, i still haven’t gotten to it 😮

    1. I honestly don’t even know, lmao. I will say, though, that I’ve had too many current reads going on for too long of a time frame now, because it’s starting to feel overwhelming. I think I’m going to dedicate this week to trying to finish as many of my current reads as possible, or setting them aside for another time. :/

      1. Definitely sounds like a plan! I threw my three current reads [I don’t even know how I got to three?] aside as soon as Obsidio came in yesterday and I’m already feeling bad about it. That is until I open Obsidio and remind myself it is totally worth it throwing the others aside. 😛
Clearing the current reads is a good thing though. I just stick to “I’m going to try and clear my CR at the end of the year so I can go in 2019 with an empty CR” :’)

      2. Bahahaha GOOD!

That’s a good idea. I tried to do that with 17/18 and ALMOST succeeded. I did actually manage to do it for the 16/17 transition, though! Today, I moved half of my CR shelf back to my TBR and posted mini reviews on GR explaining why I was moving them – that I wasn’t DNFing them, just saving them for later, yadda yadda. I’m going to try completing 2 of my other CRs today and then I need to crack down on April ARCs!

      3. Same! The only one still stuck on it is Days of Blood and Starlight.. STILL. Like, from December.. Oops.
I did the DNF’ing / putting aside thing for two books as well. Dracula being one of them. I just couldn’t get into it and it felt unfair to just keep it on there, knowing I’d have to start at page 1 again whenever I decided to pick it up. :’)
Hope it worked out the way you wanted it to! I finished one ARC and Obsidio yesterday / the day before, whoop. I have to take a close look at my ARC’s and such to figure out which one get priority. :’) Weekend worries, lalala.

      4. I feel you. >_> Like… one of the books I moved back to my TBR had been there since December 13th, I think. I felt so bad about it.

Oooh la la, look at you go~ I feel you. I have one March ARC left, but I honestly don’t think I’ll get to it before it releases. :/ I feel bad letting it go, but it’s a MG fantasy by Amie Kaufman that I am NOT feeling right now, at all…

      5. Same.. And I’m simply refusing to let go of DoB&S. I know I can read it easily if I just FEEL like it. But I keep picking up other books. :’)

Oh boo, that sucks. But if you’re not feeling it, you’re simply not feeling it. No point feeling guilty about that!
