TBR Roundup 2.0: July-December 2018

January 14, 2019

Last summer, I did a TBR Roundup (and a Haul Roundup, but we’ll talk about that later!) where I evaluated 6 months of TBR posts and made pie charts to show how many of them I actually read. I was originally going to do this every 6 months (which is why today is covering July through December of 2018), but after today’s post, this will become a quarterly post—so expect the next one in April!

Anyways, we’ve got a lotta TBRs to talk about, so let’s jump in!

Overall Results:

overall
Overall, I’m not too proud of my results for this roundup! My last roundup was actually better, with 63% read in their intended month, 15% read later, and 19% left on my TBR (okay, so that last one isn’t much worse right now than it was back then!).
Since I’ll be doing this every 3 months from now on, I think it’ll be easier to remember it and use it to motivate myself to finish my future monthly TBRs! Fingers crossed, anyways.
Keep an eye out next week for the haul roundup version!

    1. Oh my goodness, I love your pie charts!!! I’m not sure I will ever be this organized. Color me impressed.

    1. This is amazing and so organized! I wish I could do this. I wanted to start doing a spreadsheet last year, but never did. Maybe I’ll try again. You’ve inspired me. ♥️

    1. Really neat idea!! You’re so organized even if you don’t get to all of the books on your TBR. (Mine would be 90% put off / not picked up lol)

    1. I love this idea! It’s cool that it holds you a little more accountable for the books you list, but then you also get credit even if you don’t read a book right when you think you will.

      1. Thank you! Yeah, I almost didn’t include the “read later” ones, but then I thought, well, at least they DID get read, and it might be confusing to people reading the posts if it said “still on TBR” but I had reviewed it or something, right? Haha!

    1. Ahhh you are still doing so well and I am glad this post will come up a bit more frequently! you know how much I love charts. Overall the fact you read all but 20% is still fantastic

    1. I think you did pretty well considering how many books you had on your tbr every month. Don’t be too hard on yourself. <3
