Haul Roundup 3.0: January-March 2019

April 19, 2019

Check out the previous TBR Roundup posts herehere, and here, plus the previous Haul Roundup posts here and here!

If you’re not familiar with my TBR/Haul roundup posts, it’s a quarterly (previously bi-annually) post series where I look back on old TBRs and hauls and see how many of them I’ve read! It’s basically just an excuse for me to make fun little charts.

Overall Results:

Yikes. This isn’t much better than my last haul roundup! I guess I still have a long way to go on that front. I did make some progress, though: last time, my “still on TBR” overall percentage was 67%, and this time, it’s down to 54%!
To be fair, I realized after turning this into a quarterly post (rather than doing it every 6 months, like I used to), it gives me less time to actually read my new hauls before making these pie charts! So, I’ll probably do one more quarterly batch this summer, and then I might switch back to biannual. Thoughts?

    1. This is mind-blowing, I love the organization skills on this. I’ve glanced at your TBR spreadsheets and I droll.
      Love it!

    1. It’s so interesting to see the breakdown in a stats post like this! I’m a numbers nerd, so seeing pie charts like this makes me super happy. And I think that it makes sense that you haven’t read most of your books yet because of it being a quarterly post as you mentioned. I think switching it back to biannual is a more accurate reflection, but I’ll be reading these posts either way!

      1. Ahhh, that makes me so happy that you liked the stats and all! 😀 I need to start doing stats in my post way more often haha. And thank you for the input on switching back to biannual, I think you’re right and that makes a lot more sense than doing it quarterly!

    1. Nothing wrong with making fun little charts! I love statistics too and I totally understand. *lol* Wow, you do have a lot of review copies to read though. And I agree with Malka, a biannual post might show the difference better than a quarterly one. 6 months is just more time to get a significant result. 😉

      1. Thank you! I agree with you both on switching back to biannual – it just makes more sense and honestly, it was more fun to do this when there were more stats to go into it! ?

    1. I think doing bi-annual or once a year makes more sense than quarterly yeah, especially when you haul so much and have so much on your tbr so it does give you more chance to actually read the books. 🙂
