Physical Review Copies:

  • The Girl in Red — Christina Henry
    • adult dark fantasy; a gothic dark fantasy retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, but make it feminist! I love Christina Henry. ?
  • A Reflection of Shadows — Anne Renwick
    • adult steampunk/romance; I’ve never read any steampunk romance, so when the author offered it, I thought I’d give the subgenre a whirl! I’m a little lost on how to describe it because it is part of a bigger series, but Anne assured me that it can be read on its own! ♥

Digital Review Copies:

  • Twice in a Blue Moon — Christina Lauren
    • adult romance; “second chance romance” between teen sweethearts a decade after a major betrayal between them
  • Guest — Mary Downing Hahn
    • MG horror; Mollie’s little brother is switched out for a changeling, so she goes on a mission to get him back
      • I love changeling stories and I grew up on MDH’s horror stories, so I was really excited to see this!

    1. Awesome haul! I’m hoping that I get approved for the Twice in a Blue Moon ARC as well. I read The Unhoneymooners as an ARC this year and really enjoyed it.

    1. I’m interested in seeing your thoughts on And the Ocean Was Our Sky! I hadn’t heard of it until just now, but it sounds intriguing.

    1. I feel like this is not a lot for you ahha!
I hope you enjoy When the ocean was our sky! I loved it, but it is pretty weird haha 🙂
