#ARCApocalypse Update: July 2020

July 1, 2020

Time for another ARC update! For my 2020 #ARCApocalypse info and TBR, check here!

I had no trouble at all sticking to my rules in May, but it was really tough in June! In May, I didn’t allow myself to haul a new ARC unless I was 2 books ahead of goal, that way when I would haul the new book, I’d still be meeting my goal for that month. In June, I let myself get ahead with hauls (like having hauled 5-6 books when I had only read 2) and then I hit a bad reading slump, and it really caught up with me! I ended up having to binge a few short reads over the last couple of days, but I was determined because I wanted to use this as an opportunity to remind myself WHY I’m doing this ban to begin with. ?

If you’re participating in ARC Apocalypse, feel free to copy this post format if you like it! ?

    1. Good for you for not having so many new ones!
You should see me in a crown, Mexican gothic and A song below water sound so good!

      1. Thank you! Crown was so good and now I really can’t wait to dive into the other 2, especially because I think I heard someone on twitter say that A Song Below Water has a gargoyle?? ?

        1. Ooh that sounds good! I was sold at sirens haha!

    1. I’m currently reading Boyfriend Material for review and I’m having such a great time! It’s filled with such great British humor!

And I’m so curious to hear what you’ll decide for your wishlist titles! One of my most anticipated releases of the entire year is The Roommate! And I just requested Spoiler Alert because it sounds do good and I adore the cover!

I hope you have an easier time keeping up with your ARC ban rules this month, and that you manage to make a dent into your e-ARC TBR and enjoy them all!

      1. Ooooh yay! I love British humor so that makes me about 10x more excited for it than I already was haha, so thank you for telling me that!

Omg, the cover for Spoiler Alert is honestly killing me lmao. I have a copy of one of her older books and I want to read it first and make sure I enjoy her writing style before requesting the new one, but I feel like I’ll probably cave lol!

        Thank you so much! ♥♥
