It’s the end of another month, which means it’s time to talk about my haul for the month!
- Witchcraft Cocktails — Julia Halina Hadas (READ)
- This is a finished copy I was sent after loving the eARC, and I’m so excited! I can see myself using this recipe book a LOT in the future, especially in the colder months with all the tasty cold weather drinks in here. ?
- Last Case at a Baggage Auction — Eric J. Guignard
I got quite a few eARCs this month, but almost all of them were either graphic novels, manga, or 100-pg-or-less novellas, so I don’t think I did too badly in hindsight!
- Witches Steeped in Gold — Ciannon Smart
- The Roommate — Rosie Danan (READ)
- Aster and the Mixed-Up Magic — Thom Pico
- We Are the Ashes, We Are the Fire — Joy McCullough
- Shelter for the Damned — Mike Thorn
- A House at the Bottom of the Lake — Josh Malerman
- Cradleland of Parasites — Sara Tantlinger
- The Way of the Househusband, Vol. 1 — Kosuke Ono (READ)
- Ever After — Olivia Vieweg
- Witches of Brooklyn — Sophie Escabasse
- Omni, Vol. 1: The Doctor Is In — Devin Grayson (READ)
- My Riot — Rick Spears (READ)
- Fangirl, Vol. 1: The Manga — Rainbow Rowell (READ)
- Odessa — Jonathan Hill
- Barely Functional Adult — Meichi Ng (READ)
- The Weirn Books, Vol. 1 — Svetlana Chmakova
Nothing this month!
All of the Jonathan Janz titles were books I already owned in ARC formats, but the publisher’s sale was for $5 hardbacks and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy finished copies!
- The Darkest Lullaby — Jonathan Janz
- House of Skin — Jonathan Janz
- Dust Devils — Jonathan Janz
- The Sorrows — Jonathan Janz (READ)
- Castle of Sorrows — Jonathan Janz
- The Siren and the Specter — Jonathan Janz (READ)
- The Henna Wars — Adiba Jaigirdar
- You Should See Me in a Crown — Leah Johnson (READ)
- This was a PRE-ORDER that just now arrived… ? It was on backorder and then it sat at a post office near me for 6 weeks! Thankfully, I had read the eARC, so it wasn’t too upsetting to wait, but I am relieved it finally arrived!
- Disappearance at Devil’s Rock — Paul Temblay
- Fortuna Sworn — K.J. Sutton
- The Turtle Boy — Kealan Patrick Burke
- This was KPB’s debut (I think) and was put back into print for the first time in a really long time!
Yo. SOOOOO many good ebook sales this month! Most of these were $1 or $2!
- The Beast of Blackmoor — Milla Vane
- I’ve been wanting to read this series for what feels like forever so I finally bought the prequel!
- Tales from the Lake, Vol. 5 — Kenneth W. Cain
- Ugly Little Things — Todd Keisling
- Arterial Bloom — Mercedes M. Yardley
- From Blood and Ash — Jennifer L. Armentrout
- Summer of Salt — Katrina Leno
And a few freebies:
- The Wrong Game — Kandi Steiner
- I Am Still Alive — Kate Alice Marshall
- This was technically $3, but I had a kindle credit and got it for free!
- Shallow Waters, Vol. 1 — Joe Mynhardt
I registered online this month for an out of state card to the Brooklyn Public Library so I could access the New York Public Library online system!
- Cheshire Crossing — Andy Weir
- I Want to Eat Your Pancreas — Yoru Sumino
- The Demon Prince of Momochi House, Vol. 1 — Aya Shouoto
This was the first month in a while that we liked the Humble Bundle monthly games enough not to skip, and I’m pretty excited about a few of these!
