I grabbed this super unique tag from Icebreaker! I’ve never seen a book tag centered solely on eBooks, so this should be fun. I read quite a few eBooks – especially since I read so many ARCs – so let’s jump right in~
What support do you use to read your e-books? An e-reader, a tablet, or the PC?
I primarily read eBooks on my Kindle Paperwhite, but I also sometimes use the Kindle app on my iPhone, or Adobe Digital Editions on my laptop (especially for graphic novel eARCs from NetGalley).
How many e-books have you read since you started the new “digital fashion”?
I honestly wouldn’t even have a good guess for this, sorry. I’ve been reading eBooks on and off since 2010, but started reading them really frequently last year.
What is the language of your ebooks?
English. I’m boring and don’t speak any other languages!
Buy them or take advantage of free promotions and books?
I buy them, but I totally get two dozen eBook promo newsletters a day in my emails, so I never spend more than $2.99 per title. Full disclosure, though, 99% of the eBooks I read are free ARCs.
Do you enjoy reading classics or new authors?
Sadly, I very, very rarely touch classics.
How many e-books do you have?
Including eARCs, I think somewhere around 250?
What is your biggest supplier of ebooks?
NetGalley and Edelweiss are probably evenly matched these days, since I lean towards EW more lately. As far as purchases go, though, the Kindle store. I have a few iBooks titles but I don’t use that much.
Did you completely adhere to the Digital Reading or do you still live in the Age of the Physical Book?
I definitely still read lots of physical books! I’d say my reading is honestly pretty evenly split between eBooks and physical books. If I didn’t read ARCs so much, though, it’d probably be more like 80% physical.

December 1, 2017I feel like I’m pretty split on preference, but it seems to depend on my mood! Sometimes I’m in the mood to read ebooks, and sometimes nothing will work but a physical copy. I wonder why that is!

November 27, 2017this is a cool tag! i have no idea, how many ebooks i got on my kindle. i need to check! but i have to say, that i am very happy about buying it. it’s just so convienent at some points.

December 1, 2017It really is! Especially if I’m laying down at night and don’t want to keep anyone up with having a light on – I just dim the brightness on my Paperwhite and it works perfectly.

December 1, 2017Nothing wrong with that! I go through spells where I focus more on one format or the other. I find that I have periods where I am just devouring ebooks, lol. My kindle is so lightweight and convenient that I’m really glad I bought it.

November 27, 2017Cool tag! While I still favor printed books, I keep ebooks handy as either ARCs or full books. I travel and they help me without carrying an extra load on my back.

December 1, 2017I really like both, but I love having shelves full of printed books, so I prefer those, too. eBooks are so awesome for ARCs, though – I find they’re soooo much easier to get approved for. I used to always try requesting print ARCs because it was nice to receive them, and it still is nice, but for some reason, I feel less pressured to 5-star a book if it’s an ebook because I know it didn’t cost the publisher anything to print it and mail it to me. ??
