And finally, a little life update:

October was a good month, but a busy one, and it went by way too fast! I’m always sad to see October end since it’s my favorite month, but a lot of nice things happened. I had a wonderful 30th birthday, spent a lot of time with my family, read a lot, and best of all, my son got to do some awesome stuff for Halloween. We didn’t really get to celebrate Halloween as much as we wanted to in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID and all, and before 2020, he was too little to really remember, so getting to take him to little festivals and trick ‘r treating this year was the best and he had a wonderful time! While it was great, I won’t lie, a little bit of me was slightly relieved when it was all over just because I was so socially exhausted after spending so much time in my little bubble, and then spending so many weekends out and about in crowded areas. 😂 But it was worth it!

      You had such a good reading month! I’m not even bothering to wrap up mine bc I read….3 books. I am so ashamed LOL, but that’s what a slump will do to you! I’m glad October was good to you — we had a pretty good one too. I loved taking Will trick or treating — he didn’t understand it, but he loved taking the candy from the bowl and putting it in his bag LOL Here’s to an amazing November!

      Aw you had such a great month and I’m glad you got to do Halloween stuff with your son, how fun!! I can’t wait to read Demon in the Wood, so glad to see it was a 5 star for you – not that I expected anything less from Leigh Bardugo and the Darkling 😉
