September TBR: sequels that will probably ruin my life, yay

August 28, 2019

I usually try to save each monthly TBR post for the beginning of the month it pertains to, but since I’m going on hiatus this weekend, my end/beginning-of-month posts all had to be pushed up a little!

The themes this month are…

  1. Sequel September — all month
    • come join us at Devour Your TBR on Goodreads while we focus on sequels! I won’t be participating in this one too much, but I do have a few I want to get to.
  2. #StalkAlong — all month
    • check out the announcement post and join us in reading the highly anticipated series finale! (and probably crying a lot tbh)

And of course, there’s always the risk of an Unexpected Readathon Time announcement! In fact, our next one starts tomorrow (August 29th), so you should totally come join us! ♥

You can view a Goodreads shelf of my entire month’s TBR here!

Now, on to my TBR!

Leftover from August:

Since the end of the month is still a few days away and I’m hoping to finish most of my current reads before September 1st, I’m going to leave this blank and come back and update it later!

Monthly Goals

  • previous month’s goals:
    • read all of my graphic novel/manga review copies ✅
    • start a series rewatch of Avatar: The Last Airbender
    • organize my bookshelves ⌛ (I’m working on it!)
    • don’t fail any buddy reads ❌❌❌❌❌ (lol I’m the worst, why do any of you put up with me)
  1. Draft at least 2 weeks’ worth of posts before coming back from my hiatus
  2. Stick to my ARC ban
  3. Pick my Shelf Tour series back up (I have a bit of a story coming about this one…)

    1. September is for mood reading! (Also all other months but…) Even though I am participating in a readathon all September I am also keeping my TBR pretty empty because I feel the need to read as my heart pleases next month.
Also, you should definitely rush through The Thousand Doors of January for me because I still can’t decide whether I even want to request it enough off NG for the commitment haha.

      1. Yessss! I love making TBRs but it’s also nice to keep it small like this and mostly focus on mood reading. ? And LMAO at the 10k Doors – I do have to read it pre-release because I’m on the blog tour, I think, so I’ll try to remember to let you know my first impression as soon as I start it!

    1. Ahh, your tbr looks fantastic, I’m super excited for Capturing The Devil & The Ten Thousand Doors of January!!

Say hello! ♥
