Library & Kindle Unlimited Borrows:

  • Urntold Tales of Horror and Dread — J.B. Lovet [adult horror; kindle unlimited]
    • I think this came recommended by Cassie!
  • To Be Devoured — Sara Tantlinger [adult horror; kindle unlimited]
    • My mom recommended this terrifying f/f horror short to me, and WOW, it was… so descriptive, and gross, and fantastic.
      ✨ f/f rep, POC (middle-Eastern) rep ✨
  • A Court of Mist and Fury — Sarah J. Maas [NA fantasy; library audiobook loan]
    • I finished my ACOTAR audio reread and loved it so much, I immediately picked up ACOMAF for an audio reread, too. ♥
  • From Here to Eternity — Caitlin Doughty [adult nonfic; library physical loan]
    • It’s time to finally see what all the hype is surrounding Caitlin Doughty! I also checked out a couple of her youtube videos this week and was quite entertained. 🙂

  • A Boy Called Bat — Elana K. Arnold [MG contemporary; library physical loan]
    • I have to read this for my children’s literature class some time this month.
  • Bad Call — Mike Scardino [adult nonfic; library physical loan]
    • A collection of essays about a guy’s experience working as a paramedic in the 60s… I’m morbidly interested and I’ve heard good things.
  • The Collected Schizophrenias — Esme Weijun Wang [adult nonfic; library physical loan]
    • I’ve had this on hold for MONTHS and finally get to read it! It’s a memoir about mental health and some of the quotes I read pre-publication had me in aaalllllll the feels.
  • The World of Lore: Monstrous Creatures — Aaron Mahnke [adult nonfic; library physical loan]
    • I always like to grab some solid cryptid-themed books every fall. It just seems like the perfect time of year to dream up some spooky critters ?

    1. Looks like you’re doing well on your ARC ban! I’m super intrigued to see what you think of The Collected Schizophrenias and Lore!

      1. Thank you! I’m so excited to pick up both of those. It feels like The Collected Schizophrenias has been on my radar forever, and if I like Lore, I might have to buy it because it’s soooo gorgeous!

    1. Yes to ACOMAF ?✨ I haven’t listened to the audio but I think I should! Maybe even pair it up while reading. Great post ? Jen

      1. The audio narrator is really perfect for Feyre! I think listening to these has put them in a whole new light for me and has just totally taken me back to how much I loved them the first time I read them. ??? Thank you Jen!
