about that ARC ban…

Not too bad! I don’t count craft-related books against my ARC ban because they help me with my spirituality, which I don’t make enough time for lately as it is, and No Longer Human is a manga title, which won’t take me long to read, I assume. The only thing here that would normally count against my ban is A Breath Too Late, and it’s also super short (like 270pg? ish?) so I’m not mad about it!

outside the blogosphere…

After finally starting to feel normal again… I got sick this week. ? Yep, the hits just keep on comin’ this year, I swear. I had some terrible sinus infection come out of nowhere and have been mostly miserable all week. The sinus aspect has cleared a bit, but now I have chest congestion, which isn’t a great mix with asthma, so I guess a doctor’s visit is in my near future if it doesn’t clear in the next day or two. Ah, well. My birthday came and went pretty quietly and smoothly, and I think I might finally be out of my reading slump, but I have a metric shitload of homework to do this week, so we’ll see how much I can get done. I’m just ecstatic to say I have a book review scheduled for tomorrow morning — my first book review in a MONTH! It feels really good to have finally written a new one and I’m hoping it means I’ll get back on track before the month is out.
