It’s time for a weekly check-in!
It’s been a mostly good week, though I have no idea where it’s gone. My spouse’s birthday was Tuesday, so we had some nice family time celebrating that! On the less exciting side, I got turned down for a job I applied for that I was really crossing my fingers I’d get, so that was a pretty big disappointment, but I’m hopeful that something good will come along soon (preferably something with a raise from my current pay, lol).
I haven’t read much in the past few days, but I inhaled The Salt Grows Heavy in one quick go last night. It was incredible!

My spouse introduced our kiddo to Total Dramarama and it’s all my son has been watching for the past few days, which means it’s all I’ve watched, too. At least it’s really cute 😂

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll get a better job offer soon! 🤞 I’m pretty sure we talked about this before, but the Howl in the book is so different from the one in the movie. I definitely think, for me personally, the movie was better than the book. Which I don’t often find myself saying that.
