Weekly Check-in: Graphicsathon is off to a great start!

weekly check-in

It’s time for a weekly check-in!

life update

It’s been a good week here! Sunday, we took Isaac to a theme park and he had so much fun, we splurged on season passes – we’re actually planning to go back already today! I had to do a lot of recuperating from Sunday since we spent the entire day there, but it was worth it. I’m just hoping today doesn’t wear me out as much. 😅 Otherwise, I’ve been working a lot, I applied for a new job (cross your fingers for me, please!), and I’ve been reading a LOT, as you’ll see. 🥳

just finishedI love Graphicsathon! 😂 I feel like my check-ins look so much more productive thanks to all of the quick reads (though a few of these were actually long regular novels, too).

I decided I wasn’t in the mood for The Fine Print or my Eragon re-read, so I set both of those aside! I keep starting new current reads and prioritizing them over the ones I’ve been working on for a while, so hopefully soon, I’ll finish up my June buddy/group reads and make some time to finish Black Cranes and Fragile Threads.

📚 current reads 📚

and everything else We finally bought Evil Dead Rise on VOD and watched it, and WOW, I am obsessed! It was everything I hoped it would be and more. 😍

Heads up: you can always friend me on Letterboxd if you wanna see my movie mini reviews!

What are you reading right now, or what did you recently finish? Is anything exciting happening in your life? Let me know in the comments!

    1. Good luck on the job hunt!

I always have 3-5 books going too because I am such a moody reader. It doesn’t work any other way for me. Some days I read chapters from all of them instead of finishing one. Probably not very efficient, lol.

    1. Wow, you did read a lot this week. This feels like the perfect time of year to reread The Ruins, too😁 Maybe I should track down my copy? Good luck with the job hunt!

    1. I’m so glad you loved Evil Dead Rise! The original is one of my favourite movies ever and Rise definitely is up there with my favourites now 🙂

    1. Crossing my fingers for the new job!! You have read a lot!! Awesome and I’m so jealous about Schwab! I am going to pre-order it because my Netgalley request has been ignored for months. hahaha!

Say hello! ♥
