April 10, 2019

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

I think I might make myself a rule that, if I don’t complete You Must Not Miss by next week’s WWW, I have to DNF it, because this is ridiculous. I enjoyed the first little chunk of it, so why can’t I find the motivation to finish it?!

  1. You Must Not Miss — 13%
  2. Sorcery of Thorns — 13%
  3. The Dark Game — 17%
  4. The Art of Losing — 38%
  5. Dead Until Dark (reread) — 12%
  6. Godsgrave — 24%

I don’t really have any goals for the next week. I just want to keep focusing on reading whatever makes me happy and keeps me out of a slump!

Have you read any of the titles I mentioned in this post, or are any on your TBR? Let me know in the comments!

    1. I’m sorry you might have to DNF You Must Not Miss. I do think I’ve read a couple of reviews for it that were kind of in the middle of liking it/not liking it. I say DNF for sure if it’s not holding your attention. Too many books, too little time. You had a giant April TBR, if I remember correctly, so why not get one book off your list? Happy reading!

      1. Thank you! <3 Yeah, I don't know what's up with it! The writing is gorgeous and I think I should have just binge read it all in one go. It doesn't help that I tried picking it up a few days ago and had already forgotten who one side character was so I got confused over a small thing (I'm REALLY bad with character names in general). ? I'm barely into it, so maybe I'll try skimming back through what I'd already read and see if it catches me again. And yes, I did have a big April TBR! I've sadly more or less dumped my TBR because of my slump. ? But I'm still trying to soooort of stick to it.

    1. I’m reading Dark Tribute by Iris Johansen and I just finished C.J. Box new book Wolf Pack
I could read every book C.J. Box has written again and since I vacation in the territory he writes about it makes his books seem more interesting.
Another book I enjoyed was the God Smuggler. This book gave me goosebumps on how the man got many bibles to people in very dangerous places.

      1. Ooooh, I haven’t read anything by C.J. Box. I’ll have to look him up! 🙂 I can see how vacationing in the area his books are set in would make it more interesting. I love books with settings I’ve been in or live near.

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed Girls on the Verge, I’m super excited to read it soon!
