(wait a second… am I back?)
Hi, everyone! Long time, no type!
I put this site on full hiatus nearly a year ago and spent several months of that time thinking I had thrown in the towel for good and would never come back… but here I am! I just can’t stay away. ♥️
I made my return to booktube a few weeks ago and have been loving it so much that it reminded me of all these things I missed about bookstagram and my blog, too. Let’s catch up a little!
1. What did you read last?
Obviously, I’m not going to list EVERYTHING I’ve read since my last blog post, but in March so far, I’ve read…
✨ Over and Over Again (reread) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
✨ Marrying the Protective Professor ⭐
✨ Hello Billionaire ⭐⭐⭐
Spring is in the air and I’ve been in the mood for sappy and mushy reading, so I’ve been on a real romance kick! Cole McCade is always a good time. I wasn’t thrilled with either of last week’s other reads, sadly.
2. What are you currently reading?
Right now, I have one self-help book and three buddy reads on the table (including a reread of an old favorite)…
✨ Unfuck Your Brain: Getting Over Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Freak-Outs, and Triggers with Science
✨ The Nightmare Before Kissmas
✨ Onyx Storm
✨ The Hunger Games (reread)
I’m barely into Unfuck Your Brain, but a little over halfway through all of the others. Kissmas has been adorable and fun, Onyx Storm has been stressful in all the best ways, and The Hunger Games is a gem that I never seem to get tired of revisiting.
3. What will you read next?
I have a few different buddy/group reads that I’m late on or have discussions coming up soon for, so I’d really like to work on those! I’ll pick from this list, but I’m not sure what will end up being prioritized. I also just got a classic from the library that might end up getting bumped to the top for mood reading purposes!
✨ The Lamb (group read)
✨ We Used to Live Here (group read)
✨ Where I End (overdue group read)
✨ The Woman in Black (library mood borrow)
