June Haul: (hopefully) my last big ARC haul for a while?

June 28, 2019

As usual, click the titles for GR links~ ♥

For the last few months, I’ve been splitting my physical & digital hauls so I could give you more info on the books I’m hauling, but since I started doing Stacking the Shelves posts again (which offer lots of detail on everything I haul!), there’s not much need for that, so we’re bringing it back down to one short ‘n sweet post. If you’d like to view my Stacking the Shelves posts, they’re all right here!

In late June, I decided to put myself on an ARC ban! It loosely started over the last week or so, but I’m cracking down in July: with a few minor exceptions (like poetry and graphic novels), I’ll only be allowing myself to request one new review copy per week! (In case you were wondering what the title was referring to~)

  • Kindle Unlimited, Scribd, & Library Loans:
    Nothing this month!

What was your favorite thing you hauled this month — or if you didn’t haul anything, is there anything you hope to haul soon? Let me know in the comments!

More about Destiny @ Howling Libraries

Just a horror aficionado/geek girl trying to juggle motherhood, reading, blogging, gaming, and everyday life.

    1. I got an eARC for both Darkdawn and the Girl the Sea Gave Back and am so stocked!! Nice haul!!

    1. Such a good haul! Am especially excited to see what you think of Slay – it sounds amazing!

    1. Some great books on this list!

    1. Great haul Destiny! I think I need to try an ARC ban as well! Can’t wait to see your thoughts on the starless sea, always never yours, i love you so mohci and a few others 🙂

    1. I’m watching everyone start ARC bans at the moment and I am tentatively deciding whether I have the time to allow myself to start requesting things…. Love your hauls like always!

    1. Nice haul! I’m going to have to look into a few of these as the covers have enticed me, particularly The Mythic Dream and Small Kingdoms. I do believe it’s thanks to you I added Dahlia Black already. 😉 Yes (I went and checked my notes) that and The Starless Sea.
This week I hauled in my first audio book in a long time, probably my first since audio books went digital. Before that I listened using CDs and then stopped doing audiobooks. But it was Wicked Saints, which is thanks to you that I even heard of it. I really did enjoy it and enjoy listening to it. One of the narrators was Natasha Soudek (sorry don’t have the man’s name right now). So thank you, hopefully this week I’ll share my thoughts on it.
Otherwise I think the biggest haul I had this spring was in May…Hmm…pretty sure… Thanks for sharing!

Say hello! ♥
