March’s Progress…

Completed:

Since my February State of the ARC, I have completed 14 review copies! This is WAY less than my ARC completion numbers have been in the last few months, because I spent most of March slumping, busy as hell, or reading random backlist titles and rereads. ?‍♀️ I’m still pretty pleased with those 14!

I also DNFed 3 review copies — I’ll be giving Small Town Hearts another try this summer, but the other 2 didn’t work for me at all.

In Progress:

Right now, I have 5 review copies in progress.

Acquired:

I also acquired 43 new review copies (13 physical, 30 digital—though a few of the print copies were gifts that I’m not required to review!). I have completed 6 of the new additions.

I love this! I tried making a table to organise everything but I kept forgetting to add them. I might have to do this to get organised again!

Thank you! It took me a long time to get in the habit of keeping my lists updated so I could make these kinds of posts without forgetting everything, so I have faith that you’ll get there, too! 😀

I’m so sad to see you didn’t like Rayne and Delilah! I was really looking forward to that one, but now I’m not so sure.

I hope you enjoy it, I definitely think it might have just been me!! Sadly it just didn’t work for me at all 🙁

Dang, well maybe I’ll still give it a try and see what I think. I trust you though!

omg Destiny, I honestly don’t know how you keep up! I’m going on an ARC ban for the next month or so as I need a break and I have such a tiny amount in comparison!

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries March 30, 2019 at 9:13 pm

An ARC ban sounds like a great idea if you need a break! <3 I hope it goes well and helps you. I didn't realize I'd gotten so many review copies this month until making this post, and it was VERY sobering and made me realize I need to become way pickier for the rest of this year, or at least until August-ish, as most of my current ARCs are from August or before then.

I’m always so impressed with how much you manage to read, whether it’s 14 or 34 books/arcs! I think the most important thing is that you enjoy them!

Thank you!! March might not have been up to speed for my usual reading month but I definitely had some winners, so that makes it all okay!

Holy WOW! How do you read so much so fast? I have got to learn to read faster. Lol. The Art of Taxidermy has caught my eye as well, will look out for your review. Well done with your progress!

I just don’t have much of a life outside of reading and work, haha! Especially since I took this semester off. You’ll probably see my reading speed decrease BIG TIME once summer and fall semesters roll around!
