Ooh, I love the spin you put on this TTT! All these covers are pretty, especially Girls of Paper and Fire! I can’t wait till it releases!

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:50 am

Thank you so much, Keri! Yessss, that cover is so lovely! I’m sad that it got pushed back but at least it was only by a couple of weeks!

  • Reply etinosa May 8, 2018 at 12:22 am

So many pretty covers this year. Muse of nightmares and girls of paper and fire are really gorgeous.

  • Reply Shayna May 8, 2018 at 12:27 am

Oh, you and I have similar tastes in covers it seems, because I loved these! I think The Astonishing Color of After and Bright We Burn would be my favourites though. Nice spin on this week – it’s so hard to pick just one colour! Here’s mine if you want to check it out:

So many gorgeous covers! <3 I really like the cover of The Surface Breaks by Louise O'Neill, that has to be one of my favourites of this year.

  • Reply Ellyn May 8, 2018 at 1:35 am

2018 is such a good year for covers (and books for that matter)??? I’m super excited for 9 From the Nine Worlds – the cover looks fantastic. I’m also super excited for Escaping From Houdini but, the cover is definitely not my favourite.

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:51 am

Agreed, Ellyn! #blessed lmao! And yeah, EFH isn’t my fave in the series, I gotta admit! I do like it, though.

  • Reply Taasia @ librapaintspages May 8, 2018 at 1:45 am

Whoa, swarmed by beauty <3 There are so many good ones, but I have to say, the All Out and The Way You Make Me Feel covers are GORGEOUS!

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:52 am

Yaaay, I’m glad you agreed on the covers! I honestly think The Way You Make Me Feel is soooo gorgeous, and I’m so excited for my physical copy to get here.

  • Reply Kelly @ Wandering Through Books May 8, 2018 at 2:05 am

This just seems to be a year of pretty fantastic covers! I think my favourite cover on your list is Muse of Nightmares but that might also be because I’m really, really anticipating the the release for suspense reasons…

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:53 am

Thank you, Kelly! Isn’t Muse gorgeous? I’m about to finish Strange the Dreamer and I’m loving it!

  • Reply Tamika @paperback & flick chick May 8, 2018 at 2:19 am

All of the covers from the Nevernight series by Mr. Kristoff are bloody amazing! They are complete works of art!!

  • Reply Annemieke May 8, 2018 at 2:23 am

I quite like 9 From the Nine Worlds cover as well but it is so different from the others he’s had. Even so I am super excited for it. I can’t really choose between all the pretty covers. Too many

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:54 am

Yes, it is VERY different from the others he’s got! I always like his covers, for the most part. I think the only exception is the Kane series, I don’t love those. But I always say that Magnus and Apollo have some of the most gorgeous covers I’ve ever seen in any series!

      • Reply Annemieke May 11, 2018 at 9:09 am

I still drool over the first Apollo book.

  • Reply Holly May 8, 2018 at 2:29 am

So many aesthetically pleasing books being released this year <3 Also, I had no idea that Rick Riordan is coming out with another book?!?!?!

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:55 am

Yessss! I think it’s like a novella or spinoff of the Magnus series? I’m not 100% sure… I’m just gradually becoming so obsessed that I already pre-ordered it, whoops lol.

  • Reply Lin May 8, 2018 at 4:00 am

OOOoooo why are all the books this year so pretty??? Next year looks like they are going to be better… and we’re just going to buy all the pretties….my back account will not stand for this!
I really liked the new cover for Vicious by V.E. Schwab… and Vengeful’s cover is also lovely…. except that the vicious book I have now will not match it’s sequel ;_; *crying silently inside*

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:55 am

Right?! Lol our wallets will be crying but at least our shelves will be happy! Oh no, so sorry about Vicious! I’ve been putting off buying it for exactly that reason, but I pre-ordered the re-release a few days ago.

  • Reply Louise May 8, 2018 at 5:48 am

I adore that flare on Bright We Burn. I really need to catch up that series.

Isn’t it lovely?! Haha I squealed when it was revealed, I swear – one of my fave series ever and it’s just so lovely. I love all of the covers for that series!

  • Reply Tammy May 8, 2018 at 9:24 am

A fantastic group of covers! I’m super excited for Darkdawn too? And I think the cover for Emergency Contact is brilliant!

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 1:59 am

Thank you, Tammy! Yesss, they’re so lovely. Emergency Contact is just such a nice pale pink – I want more books in that color!

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 2:00 am

It really does! I only wish the UK cover was as pretty to me as the US one is, since I have the UK edition of the first book!

      • Reply iloveheartlandx May 11, 2018 at 6:51 pm

Ugh that’s annoying! I prefer the US one too, the purple is a lot nicer than the orange.

  • Reply anovelglimpse May 8, 2018 at 10:50 am

    Muse of Nightmares is gorgeous!

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 2:01 am

9 from the Nine Worlds is a gorgeous cover. I don’t think I’ve seen that before. Happy reading!

I love some of these covers. The Astonishing Color of After cover really made me want to grab a copy when I saw it. The colours of Summer Bird Blue are gorgeous. Darkdawn is so obviously Jay Kristoff at a glance. I’m currently reading Nevernight so I should be ready to read book 3 when it comes out 🙂

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 2:04 am

Okay, so my favorite thing about Astonishing is actually UNDER the dust jacket… the naked hardback is HOT PINK! It’s so gorgeous! And yes, Darkdawn really is so Kristoff, haha. ♥ I love it. Yay! I’m hoping to pick up Godsgrave in the next month or two.

All of these covers are so pretty and colorful. Loved your list. Almost all of these are on my TBR 😀 I recently read Starfish by Akemi and am quite excited about Summer Bird Blue 🙂

Great list! And I couldn’t agree more about Darkdawn. I said in last week’s TTT post that it’s simply the best cover I’ve seen in ages!! If I went with black (like I wanted to) instead of yellow for this week’s prompt that easily would have made my list! Love you and this list! =D

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 2:09 am

Dude, it seriously is one of THE best covers ever, lmao! I actually just commented on your post and then I saw this – I love that you went with yellow because I hadn’t seen anyone else go with that! ♥

      • Reply Nerd Narration May 11, 2018 at 10:58 am

Thanks, lovely! Yeah I was apparently a lone wolf with that color choice!

  • Reply emmareadstoomuch May 9, 2018 at 1:59 pm

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 2:14 am

Isn’t it amazing? I swear, just… it’s so simple and AMAZING? And I love Penny’s hair on it so much? And the color… UGH

Summer Bird Blue has such a beautiful cover. I don’t know anything about it but I’m very excited to look it up.

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 2:19 am

It really does! Akemi writes such gorgeous, sad, beautiful contemporaries and the rep in Starfish, her debut, was amazing so I have really high hopes for this one.

      • Reply bookishinbed May 13, 2018 at 2:11 am

I heard a lot of people talking about Starfish. I was eying it at the library the other day. If I haven’t forgotten my library card at home I was going to borrow it. Next time.

        • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 16, 2018 at 1:22 am

Oh noooo! I hate when I get to the library and realize I forgot my card, lol – it used to happen to me way too often. I hope you like it when you pick it up@

  • Reply Lea (@DrumsOfAutumn) May 10, 2018 at 11:37 am

I love the cover for 9 From the Nine World even though I don’t have any interest in Rick Riordan’s books. But somehow the cover reminds me of World of Warcraft haha 😀 one of my favourites of this year is The Surface Breaks by Louise O’Neill! I actually just ordered my hardcover copy and cannot wait TO STARE AT IT ALL THE TIME 😀

    • Reply Destiny @ Howling Libraries May 11, 2018 at 2:20 am

I could 100% see the WOW comparison! As soon as I read your comment, I was like, oh holy crap, YES haha! I totally see it. And The Surface Breaks is super gorgeous!

  • Reply Aj @ Read All The Things! May 10, 2018 at 7:56 pm

I like your spin on the topic. The books with the birds on are my favorites.
