COVER REVEAL: That Kind of Guy by Talia Hibbert!

April 2, 2019

I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am to share this post with you lovelies today! When Talia reached out and asked if I’d like to help her reveal the gorgeous new cover of her upcoming release, THAT KIND OF GUY, I freaked out. That’s such an understatement it’s not even funny, but—well, you’re not here to hear me gush about my feels, you’re here to SEE THE COVER!

*screams forever*

Okay, wait. Before we move on to the cover reveal, I want to make sure you know why this reveal is so exciting. THAT KIND OF GUY is book 3 in the Ravenswood series, which you may know from its widely beloved (especially by me! *waves #1 fan sign*) first book, A GIRL LIKE HER. Ahh, my sweet Ruth and Evan. *sighs wistfully* I digress…

Okay, okay, tell me about this series…

That Kind of Guy is book 3 in the Ravenswood series, a set of steamy, small-town romances in which outcast heroines are swept off their feet by the strong, sweet heroes who love them. Previous titles are as follows:
#1: A Girl Like Her (Ruth Kabbah and Evan Miller)
#1.5: Damaged Goods (Laura Burne and Samir Bianchi)
#2: Untouchable (Hannah Kabbah and Nate Davis)

Wait. This sounds awesome. Tell me about THAT KIND OF GUY!

She wants a fake relationship. He needs something real.

If there’s one thing Rae can’t stand, it’s pity. She’s forty, frazzled, and fed up—so attending an awards ceremony alone while her ex swans about with his new wife? Not an option. To avoid total humiliation, Rae needs a date of her own. And her young, hot-as-hell new best friend is the perfect candidate…
Zach Davis, king of casual hookups, has a secret: the notorious womaniser craves emotional connection, and anonymous encounters leave him feeling hollow. After years of performance, Zach’s desperate to be himself. So why does he agree to play Rae’s fake boyfriend? And why does it feel so easy?
When the line between pretence and desire blurs, Zach’s forced to face an unexpected truth: there’s nothing phoney about his need for Rae. But the jaded divorcée’s been hurt by playboy men before. Can a weekend of faking it prove that Zach’s for real?
This book contains instances of emotional abuse and controlling behaviour from both a parent and a significant other. It also features mention of depression and serious parental illness.

But what about the cover?!

Okay, okay, patience is a virtue… but you’ve waited long enough. Drumroll, please…

      1. It seems like a lot of models get paid specifically to model for book covers, haha! Must be an interesting job – some of the costumes are probably pretty fun. 😉

    1. I have been meaning to start reading her books! I love your posts so much! You’ve got me so pumped up for an author I haven’t read, and a couple I know nothing about!

    1. I know how much you love Talia Hibbert, so when I saw that you got to do a cover reveal for her I was so excited for you! And you actually got to do 4 cover reveals! I think Damaged Goods is my favorite of them all!

      1. Thank you! 😀 She is so awesome. Ohh, that one is so nice. I love the pose in it! I think my favorite might be Untouchable, just because the guy on the cover looks JUST like I pictured the hero in that book!!
