outside the blogosphere

Ahhh, this was a good week. I only worked 2 and 1/2 days before getting a 4-day holiday weekend! I decided to host an Unexpected Readathon for the weekend, and while I didn’t get to participate nearly as much as I had hoped to, I still got to read more than I have in the last several Unexpected Readathons, so I’m counting it as a success. 😀

If anyone wants an update on the ongoing saga of my health issues lately, I guess the new meds are working alright because I’m sloooowly feeling a little more energetic and better in general. I’m hoping by this time next week, I’ll be a lot better.

As far as the coming week goes, I’m hoping for a pretty good week. I work a bunch of really short shifts this week before a 3-day weekend because my family and I are going on our first vacation in YEARS starting on Friday! We aren’t going far, just a little getaway to go do some holiday stuff and take the kiddo somewhere new. It’ll be his first time in a hotel or traveling this far, so wish us luck. ?

what I watched

? 31 (2016) — 4 stars (I guess I’m just on a big Rob Zombie film kick lately. ?‍♀️ This was pretty good! Really twisted.)

what I listened to

Matthew and the Atlas (His song ‘Palace’ popped up on my shuffle, and while I don’t remember when I last heard it or saved it, I was super hooked and ended up shuffling through a lot of his music over the last few days.)

what I played

? Stardew Valley (This new update is E V E R Y T H I N G)
Delicious — Emily’s Taste of Fame (Almost done re-playing this one, and then I get to move on to a better game in the franchise, ha.)
