up next

I want to start these 2 beauties this week, but I also reeeeeeeeaaaaaally want to get down to 5 current reads by August 1st… and neither of those things will realistically happen unless I get my ass off of Sea of Thieves or learn to be a better audiobook-listening swashbuckler.

  1. The Ghost Tree
  2. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

new review copies

Uhhh… I fucked up this week, fam. ? I was doing SO WELL on my ARC rules this month! AUGH!

other obsessions

Still lots of ACNH and Sea of Thieves as far as gaming goes! Also, Forager, though I’ve gotten a little bored with it now. ??‍♀️

life updates

Not too bad of a week, I just didn’t feel super well (just normal monthly stuff, no worries) and slept a LOT. I did finally get my sleep schedule fixed, though, I think! I mean, the fact that I’m writing this at 9am after a full night’s sleep instead of still being awake from the previous night is a good indicator, anyways. Not much to report — how was your week, everyone?

More about Destiny @ Howling Libraries

Just a horror aficionado/geek girl trying to juggle motherhood, reading, blogging, gaming, and everyday life.

    1. Enjoy your reading! I’m jealous of your ARC for Kingdom of the wicked!!

    1. I really need to re read Illuminae too, I miss Kady and Ezra, and our favorite psyco AI!! And I really want to read Addie LaRue, been hearing so many good things about that book!! I just checked Sea of Thieves at Steam and it look like a game I woul enjoy!

      1. AIDAN is truly THE best AI and I love it so much even though, you know, homicidal maniac. ??? But I was missing Kady and Ez soooo bad, and I’m missing Nik as well, so I’m hoping to reread the whole trilogy over the next few weeks. It’s just such a great comfort read! Even though painful things happen, I always feel so comforted by being back with these sweet space babies. ♥

Ooh, Sea of Thieves is SO fun. I hope you like it if you check it out! I don’t know if you have an Xbox, but they have a Game Pass option for PC games and I think the first month is $5, and it includes SoT (plus a crap load of other games) if you ever wanted to try it for a month! ♥

        1. I read Illuminae a long time ago so I need to re read it. IBut I just read Gemina and Obsidio this month, but yess I miss Nik already oh my baby!!!

I don’t have an Xbox, I usually play on PC or PS.

    1. I love these posts because I always find new books to add to my TBR! I hope you have a great reading week & that you enjoy Addie LaRue when you start reading it. I cannot wait for October so I can get my hands on it!

Say hello! ♥
