It’s time for a weekly check-in!
It’s been a slow reading month so far, but it finally started picking up a little yesterday — I finished TWO novels in the same evening! Given that all I had read so far this month was Bride and a couple of 30-50 page short stories, that felt like a good accomplishment. I’m hoping the second half of the month is more productive for my reading, because I still have so many books on my March TBR! 😅
It was a really slow reading week until yesterday, but I made up for it, I think!

March 14, 2024I wanted love That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon. But, it just kind of fell flat for me. I had heard so many great things, but it didn’t work. It’s certainly spicy enough, but I didn’t love it. Maybe it was overhyped.

March 20, 2024Oh no, I’m sorry to hear it fell flat for you! It has gotten a lot of hype and I know how that goes – I feel like a book that already doesn’t hit right is somehow MORE disappointing if it’s a very hyped book, for me at least!

March 14, 2024Ohh thats nice, such a good feeling to finish books 👏🏼👏🏼 I broke a new record of finishing a « normal » (so no poetry or short story) book in 2days- although I went to bed at like 4am.. ahah 😅
