Weekly Check-in: now we’re getting somewhere!

weekly check-in

It’s time for a weekly check-in!

life update

Yeah, we’re getting somewhere now! It feels like I’ve hopefully finally kicked my reading slump. I think I’ve read more pages in the past 5 days than I did in the entire month of March! I’m also finally able to focus on visual reading a bit again, which I have struggled with a LOT for the past few months. Now if I could just find a way to balance my sleep schedule with all of these good books 😂

just finishedLook at me go! 🥳💃 This list hasn’t been this long in a hot minute! And most of what I’ve read this week has been great, which makes it even better.

📚 current reads 📚

I’m really happy that I finally finished off a couple of the books I’d been working on for a while! It’s a super motivating feeling and has me really wanting to clean this list up now. I only have a little bit left in both The Invocations and Melon Head Mayhem, Misty and I are planning to finish A Feather So Black tomorrow, and I feel like Dead Letters, Slaying the Vampire Conqueror, and That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon will all move fast once I pick them back up.

and everything else I’m obsessed with this song off of the new Sum 41 album! The whole album is so bittersweet because it’s such a good album but it’s so sad that they’re retiring. We’re taking Isaac to see them for his first concert ever next month and I can’t wait!

What are you reading right now, or what did you recently finish? Is anything exciting happening in your life? Let me know in the comments!

    1. Ohh so many bools finished congrats ????

Im still reading no judgement.. haven’t finished anything yet this month ? i try to read every night a few chapters but it just, doesn’t go as fast as other books it seems

    1. I’ve probably said this before but I’m slowly reading No One Can Know. I’m slower with adult mystery/thrillers than YA because I definitely like them less aha. But I love KAM so much so I really have to like this.

Eyeing you for The Krystal Sutherland book because that’s on my shelf-of-soon aha

      1. The Invocations has been EXCELLENT so far, I don’t know how I haven’t finished it yet aside from the fact that I honestly keep forgetting I haven’t finished it. ? But that isn’t a negative reflection on the book AT ALL, because it’s been fantastic!

Say hello! ♥
