It’s time for a weekly check-in!

Hi, friends! Happy August! I love August and the first 2 days of the month treated me really well. 🥰 We’ve had some nice cooler temps at night, so we had evening car rides with the windows down to enjoy it the past two nights, and yesterday, we went shopping and I found a ton of gorgeous Halloween decor! I’m hoping that this is a good sign for the rest of the month. We originally planned on spending today at the theme park we have season passes for, but the radar’s showing a ton of rain, so I’m hoping it’s just a quiet, cozy day of working at home, reading, and enjoying the sound of the rain on the roof. 🖤

Apparently, buddy reading FantasticLand with Reg helped me through the worst of my Fourth Wing hangover, because I read a lot last week! Sadly, Witch King was a DNF (but I read well over half of it, so I rated it and marked it as a completion, because treat yo’ self, you know?). On the upside, FantasticLand was awesome!
