WWW #10: January 30, 2019

January 30, 2019

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Since it’s almost February, I want to mostly focus on finishing my current reads. Then, I’ve got at least two things I want to start for Whitley’s Splattertine’s readathon:

  1. Horrorstör
  2. The Black Farm

Have you read any of the titles I mentioned in this post, or are any on your TBR? Let me know in the comments!

    1. I just added The Breakaways to my TBR since I love middle grade graphic novels! And I’m really excited since Goodbye Perfect is in transit for me!
I’m so happy to hear you broke out of your slump!

    1. This Mortal Coil is so good! It was one of my favourite reads from last year. I hope you’re enjoying it!

    1. Ahh you’ve read so many things lately, you’re a true Queen! I’ve been meaning to pick up Darkfever for years, is it not worth it?

      1. Awww, thank you love!! Buh-bye slump haha. Oh, man… Darkfever was so tough because the plot was interesting, but at the same time, the main character was literally one of the WORST MCs I’ve ever read in my life and I hated her so much that at least once every couple of chapters I’d get so pissed I’d have to close out of my kindle app and do something else haha.

    1. i just saw aquaman last night so mera: tidebreaker caught my eye. i haven’t loved paige’s novels in the past but i might give it a chance??
and ooh, i’ve been waiting for you to read it ends with us! it’s been an age since i picked it up myself so i don’t remember details,, but i’m really interested in what you think about it ?

      1. I haven’t read anything by her in the past but I thought Mera: Tidebreaker was pretty good! I can’t review it until the release date because of DC Ink’s publicity embargo, but I’ll just say the plot and writing weren’t amazing but the art was stunning and overall, I had fun reading it!
I’m halfway through IEWU and I need to make time to pick it back up because it’s really good so far!

Say hello! ♥
