May 29, 2019

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

This week, my “finish or DNF” goal will be The Foxhole Court!
Current reads are still a disaster. I thought I’d make a lot of progress during the long holiday weekend, but instead, I spent most of my time playing The Sims 4.

I finally finished a few books I’d been taking way too long to read! Most notably is Sorcery, which had been on my current-reads shelf for a very long time, but I don’t feel bad about that. I honestly was reading it as slowly as I possibly could because I didn’t want it to end, but when I reached the last few chapters, I just couldn’t hold back anymore and had to finish it, and it was AMAZING! ???

  1. ??‍♀️ Giant Days, Vol. 8 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  2. ??‍♀️ Dead Weight: Murder at Camp Bloom ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  3. ??‍♀️ Clean Room, Vol. 1 ⭐⭐⭐
  4. ✨ The Bride Test ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  5. ??‍♀️❌ American Gods, Vol. 1 (did not finish)
  6. ?‍♀️❌ Paramourn: Unfortunate Romances (did not finish)
  7. ??‍♀️ Monstress, Vol. 2 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  8. ✨ The Right Swipe ⭐⭐⭐⭐
  9. ?‍♀️ Seven Slightly Sadistic Stories ⭐⭐⭐ 1/2
  10. ✨ Sorcery of Thorns ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Still just focusing on current reads, though it would be nice to get started on The Death of Mrs. Westaway before the month ends, since it was on my May TBR.

Have you read any of the titles I mentioned in this post, or are any on your TBR? Let me know in the comments!

    1. Your Currently Reading made my jaw drop. I couldn’t manage that. More than one book and I immediately start getting plot lines confused. How do you tackle it?

      1. Honestly, by the time the number got this high, I did start forgetting bits of plot lines here and there a little bit. 🙁 A few of the books that I wasn’t very far into, I set aside without even marking down where I had left off because I know I’ll be better off just restarting them. I never want my current-reads list to get this high ever again!

    1. Sims 4 = MOOD 😀
23 current reads?! *faints* 4 is about all I can handle.
I’m really excited that The Bride Test and Sorcery of Thorns both got 5 stars!

    1. Oh I’m happy to see that you liked sorcery of thorns!

    1. Nothing wrong with playing The Sims 4! 🙂
I admire your ‘Currently Reading’ list – I can usually only manage two at most.
      Happy reading!

    1. But really, can we have some blog content re: The Sims?!
As far as the ‘currently reading’ though – you got this!

        1. Haha I understand! I feel like I want to do gaming blog posts but then I go on a month of playing only Call of Duty and I’m just like… noone wants to read about this ?

    1. I love you and say this as non judgmentally as possible BUT your CR list is giving me wild anxiety right now ?<3

      1. Bahaha agreed, tbh ?? I had been away from it for a while because I didn’t have the Origin subscription anymore, so when they put it up for free last month I had to jump on it and I can’t get enough now lmao.

Say hello! ♥
