Weekly Check-in

October 16, 2019

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

This week, my “finish or DNF” goal will be Dead Meat: Day 1!

  1. A Court of Mist and Fury (reread)
  2. Rosemary and Rue
  3. Dead Meat: Day 1

    1. ? Night Trap ⭐⭐⭐

Yep… I wish I was kidding, but I’ve finished one book since my last WWW post (2 weeks ago) and it was just a short horror graphic novel. This is the worst slump I’ve had in YEARS! I ended up putting almost all of my current reads back on my TBR and, moving forward, plan on limiting myself to one title at a time per format (so one print book, one audiobook, and one ebook at a time for 3 current reads MAX).

Ideally, I’d like to finish all 3 of my current reads and start some new things, but… I dunno, we’ll see. ? It’s my birthday today and all I want is for my reading slump to end! ? Wish me luck!

Have you read any of the titles I mentioned in this post, or are any on your TBR? Let me know in the comments!

I wanted to reread acomaf for a readathon but I knew it wasn’t happening. Sadly. I need to read all of those books soon. Here’s my post for the week: https://stormereadss.wordpress.com/2019/10/16/www-wednesday-october-16-2019/

    Happy birthday!
Your currently reading list is so short this time! Did you finish the others? Or removed some? 🙂
