It’s time for another WWW Wednesday!
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What I’m currently reading:
You might notice a book missing from my currently/finished reading sections, and that’s because I finally decided to set For the Wolf aside for a little while! I was really enjoying it so far, so it’s not a lack of interest at all, but I think I over-committed myself to some things in February and so I’m going to be saving For the Wolf for my March TBR!
- the shadow of the gods // john gwynne
- dead silence // s.a. barnes
- vespertine // margaret rogerson
What I recently finished:
It might look like I’ve been productive when you see that I read 5 books in the past week, buuuut nah, three were graphic novels and one was a 5-minute short story audiobook. 😂
- don’t turn on the lights // cassandra khaw
A super creepy breath of fresh air for my all-time favorite urban legend. - a psalm for the wild-built // becky chamber
Despite having given it a very generous 3-star rating, this is definitely going into the running for “most disappointing books of 2022” for me. 🙃 - eat the rich #1 // sarah gailey
Forever mourning how immensely hit-and-miss Sarah’s writing is for me. This was a miss. - ten days in a mad-house: a graphic adaptation // nellie bly
A very good adaptation of a VERY sad book. - slip // marika mccoola
Almost nothing redeeming to say about this one, ouch!
What I’ll read next:
I want to try to knock out some of the shortest things on my TBR (a few graphic novels, a de-cluttering book, and two horror novellas) really quickly before picking up A Court of Silver Flames!
- something is killing the children, vol. 3 // james tynion iv
- shades of magic, vol. 1-3 // v.e. schwab
- elle(s), vol. 1 // kid toussaint
- organizing for the rest of us // dana k. white
- the plumbers // terry m. west
- lamella // max halper
- a court of silver flames // sarah j. maas
What are you reading right now, or what did you recently finish? Let me know in the comments!
