Memes Weekly Check-in

WWW Wednesday: time for accountability and getting back on track!

March 9, 2022

It’s time for another WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking On a World of Words. It’s a meme that takes place every Wednesday, where the posters discuss 3 Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What I’m currently reading:

I let myself add on some extra current reads last week because I felt really confident that I’d be back down to 4 or less by this week, but that didn’t happen, and in fact, now I’m back up to… 7. 😭 I shouldn’t have let myself break my own rule, lmao!

I’m going to do my best to get this back down to 3-4 by next Wednesday, and part of holding myself accountable will be including my reading progress for each book in the list! I’ll add my current percentage, the date I last made progress, and if that date is more than a week old, highlight it in red to shame myself a little. 😂

What I recently finished:

I thought I read quite a bit over the last week, but this would imply that I remembered wrong. 😂

  • john carpenter’s night terrors: sour candy // kealan patrick burke
I already read and loved the novella years ago, and this graphic novel adaptation was awesome, too!
  • a girl like her // talia hibbert (RE-READ)
I did a buddy re-read of this with Caro and loved it just as much as always! I can’t wait to re-read the rest of the series together, too ♥

What I’ll read next:

Mostly, I just need to focus on current reads, but if I can make enough progress before next Wednesday, I would really like to start a buddy read of Sundial soon, and maybe pick up one of the novellas on my March TBR!

What are you reading right now, or what did you recently finish? Let me know in the comments!

Good luck with your reading plans!! Very excited to hear what you think of Dead Silence, Vespertine and Gallant, as they are on top of my TBR 🥰 I also loved buddy reading A Girl Like Her, it’s such a great book ❤️

Thank you, Caro! I ended up loving Dead Silence and Gallant, but still need to finish Vespertine (which I’ve loved so far). I can’t wait for us to continue our buddy read of the series! (Speaking of which, I think I have an unread DM from you lol!)

    Say hello! ♥
