T10T: Ten Decade-Old YA TBR Picks

This is a weekly tag hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s challenge is a throwback freebie! I decided to pick ten YA books off of my TBR that were published at least 10 years ago. I’ve ordered them from oldest to newest! 1. Remember Me – Christopher Pike Published: 1989 I’m not sure how I came to possess this book, but I figure I should read it eventually, especially given the fact that I remember enjoying Pike’s writing...

T10T: Hidden Gems in YA

This is a weekly tag hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s challenge is Ten Hidden Gem Books in X Genre! I decided to go with a few under-hyped YA titles for this post. If you see some titles that you don’t think are under-hyped, keep in mind that I’m not basing this off of sales so much as I am basing it off of how often I actually hear other readers and reviewers discussing and recommending these...

June Haul & Wrap-up

This month looks like a bit of a doozy, but I’m actually proud to announce that I set myself a goal of only purchasing ebooks that were on sale, and BOTM books… and I succeeded! Well, almost. June Wrap-Up The Lightning Thief – Rick Riordan (review) ★★★★☆ Thirteen Chairs – Dave Shelton (review) ★★★★☆ What I Lost – Alexandra Ballard (RTC) ★★★★☆ Royal Bastards – Andrew Shvarts (review) ★★★★★ The Waking Land – Callie Bates (review) ★★☆☆☆ The Raven Boys – Maggie Stiefvater (review) ★★★★★...

Top 10 Tuesday: Best Reads of 2017 (So Far)

I originally was going to focus this week's post specifically on fantasy and sci-fi books, but I realized that it left me with no excuse not to pick multiple titles from the same series (looking at you, ACOTAR and The Lunar Chronicles!). Instead, I thought I'd just give you guys a rundown of my ten favorite reads of the year so far - any genre! I limited myself to one title per series, which is why you won't see a few of my beloved titles in this list.

Liebster Award #1

First, huge thank you to Cheeky Booky for nominating me in her post! She actually tagged me earlier this month, but I somehow missed it until recently, and as soon as I realized I hadn't passed it on, I knew I had to right away! I'll be answering the questions she came up with, of course.

Top 10 Tuesday: Series I’ve Been Meaning to Start

This is a weekly tag hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s challenge is Top Ten Series I've Been Meaning to Start But Haven't!

This one is pretty self-explanatory, and as a reader with a TBR pile that has been slowly burying me alive for most of my teen and adult life, this one should be a breeze. I didn't want today's post to just be a basic numbered list, because I feel like you guys deserve more information than that. ;) So, I'm going to also give you a quick rundown of when the series began, how many books are currently in it, and if it has been completed!

Stacking the Shelves: 06.17.17

* Stacking the Shelves Saturdays is a meme hosted by Tynga over at Tynga’s Reviews. Every Saturday, bloggers can showcase new additions – whether that’s to a physical shelf, a virtual shelf, or even your TBR! Since I add so many books to my Goodreads shelves constantly, I’m going to focus every Saturday on showing off that week’s additions to my TBR! * This week, I added… The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert Releases Jan 30, 2018 Seventeen-year-old Alice and her...
